A Franklin front yard, rebuilt bed by bed

The beds along the front of this Franklin home had been in the ground long enough that the shrubs had outgrown the space and the edging had disappeared into the lawn. The front of the house is the first thing anyone sees from the street, and it had become the part of the property the owners had stopped looking at.

We stripped the beds back, reset the line with stone paver edging, and replanted with a mix that holds colour through the season without needing constant attention. Fresh mulch went down over the whole run, and path lighting was set into the beds so the frontage still reads after dark.
